Lesson Description

This lesson is designed for English Language learners who want to improve their vocabulary and communication skills related to describing physical appearance and personality traits of individuals.

Lesson Objectives:

• Identify and understand adjectives related to physical appearance and personality in written, audio, and video texts.
• Skim, scan, and extract details about appearance, personality, and hobbies from short texts.
• Write clear descriptions of a person’s appearance, personality, and hobbies using appropriate vocabulary.
• Create a digital personal profile with information about appearance, personality, and hobbies.
• Give a spoken description and talk confidently about someone’s appearance, personality, and interests.

Lesson Activities:

1. Students will read/listen two short texts about Aisha, one focusing on her physical appearance and the other on her personality traits.
2. Students will learn and practice adjectives related to appearance and personality.
3. Students will write short descriptions of their partners using the new vocabulary.
4. Students will create a detailed personal profile on a digital platform, incorporating vocabulary and grammar learned.
5. Students will present a video description conveying appearance, personality, hobbies, and interests
